Cows wondering who the heck we are! They've never seen the likes of us before.
A very lush wheat field...
A tank hiding in the trees...
My bridge! I love this old metal/wood bridge. I have even decorated it at Christmas with garland and bows. Sadly, the highway dept. was surveying the area recently. The husband stopped and asked what they were doing. They said the old bridge is going to be replaced. I wish I could move it to our place!
Here in Texas, it is a Spring tradition for people to take pictures of their children in the bluebonnets. Well, this was my pitiful attempt. Harley had a bad attitude about the whole situation.
Headed back up the road, I ran across these two monsters. Yes, they are mine. They were hollerin' to the boys across the road. Where they get that, I have NO idea! Hussies!
Comin' back up my drive. The lawn boys came today. I just love coming home to fresh cut grass. It makes me happy.
So now do you see why the word of the day is GREEN! Spring has definitely sprung 'round here.

Im soooo jealous! I wish we had that kind of green around here!
Spring HAS sprung, hasn't it? I loved these pictures! Aren't we sooooooooooo lucky to live in Texas?
Wow! It is luscious. Love the photo of the bridge and the horses. Don't know how you keep the white so clean.
Pretty pictures and the "kid in the bluebonnets is wonderful!
Grey is the word of the day here still ,but the green is trying real hard!
Lovely, just so inviting. :)
Oh yea, go green! :) I actually get a bit tired of green....we have TOO much, I like myself a little dry grass and desert at times, LOL!
I loved going on the walk with you. Maybe when that bridge is deconstructed, you can get those rails! Those would be cool. I like the picture of the mares staring so intently across the way. And I want that wheat field! I am obsessed with big fields like that!
Your pictures are so inviting! I would call the highway dept. and ask them if you could have the bridge. They will have to pay to haul it away, so you could save them some $$. Good luck. Keep us all posted.
What a fun walk! Beautiful horses, Harley looks so cute in the flowers! Love the bridge too!
Great walk! Love the pics of the horses and the bridge.
Green is my favorite color this time of year!
You are so blessed. That's all. =]
I love, LOVE old bridges!! That is sad that they're tearing it down, but I'm sure they're worried about liability!
I like your kid with the blue bonnets. He does look a little grumpy though!
D:
No fair! Our winter wheat is only like...not even an inch!
Spring has so much beauty after the dreary winter, and your photos sure do capture some of that beauty. I can't wait till we move; it's already green and budding there compared to the winter snow that still desperately clings here.
SO nice to see green again! Mother Nature has been very reluctant to leave our area but it is finally getting green.
I love it. So beautifully green! Things are finally starting to not be so brown and gray and dull around here. Not quite that lush yet. Soon, very soon. Now if only the weather would warm up!
I'm with you - that bridge is great...and I bet the new one won't hold up nearly as well! All your green makes me "green with envy"!
I love Harley's collar.
oh my gosh.......green?????
i want it to be green here....it is starting but nothing like what you have.
and i love, love, love, the old bridge too.
Very nice! The pic of Harley in the bluebonnets is very nice too..:-)
Great pics! I'll bet if you asked to have the old bridge, they give it to you! Weirder things have happened!
Great pics girl! Love them!
Sorry to hear about your loss of Lil Man. Hugs**
I am so jealous..we are still brown..all shades of brown..and very little white!! Your green looks so great! I would ask about the brige too..they have to haul it someplace:)
Wonderful pics! Ok...I want to visit Texas! I have family in Texas ..maybe they want some company! Here in the high desert, we have blooming sagebrush, etc. unless you go up into the mountains where we have all the different beautiful pines and meadow grasses. Love the baby in the bluebonnets and the hussies!
