I Hang My Head in Shame

I have a skeleton in my closet.

A dirty little secret.

Please don't judge me.

But I must come clean...

I still have Christmas decorations up!!!!

Well, only out at our entrance.  All the other decorations have been taken down for weeks now.
I've just been too lazy and it's been too cold for me to walk out there and take them down.

Ahhhh, cleansing breath.  I feel so much better now that the secret is out.

Promise to get them down this weekend....well, if it's warmer and not raining and after the football game and if I'm not playing with Diesel, or if I'm not busy helping the husband or if I'm not taking a nap or if......

Ha! Me too! I have cedar branches and bows on my gate posts and I wanted to take them down, but Ted asked me to leave them up. Says he like them. It does add a nice touch of color.

Don't feel bad, you should see the number of houses that are still lighting up the lights outside!!

That makes you some additional degree of redneck, doesn't it? LOL

At least you decorated down at the gate for Christmas. I didn't ever get that far.

I still have the lights up on the barn. With the sun still not wanting to hang around for very long, those white lights are really nice to see. Usually we don't take the lights down until after the last musher reaches Nome.

And your problem with this is...???
I think it looks bright and welcoming, so as long as the cold weather keeps up, I wouldn't even worry about it!
I'm sure that it makes folks smile as they drive by, and since we all need a smile and extra brightness in our lives... LEAVE IT UP!
See, this way, we can be "sisters in slothfulness" together! ;)
