Frollockin' in the Wheat

Took the dogs out for some play time. We walked over to the neighbor's winter wheat field. It has really shot up since the last time we went over. They had such a good time burrowing thru it.

Here we are heading down the drive. All the gang excited about goin' on an adventure.

Lil Man and Zena had a blast! And they were the only ones I could see in the wheat thus no pics of the other dogs!

Here they are bounding across the field.

Zena would stop ever so often to make sure I was still watchin'.

Then it was back off to running a muck! Lil Man was doing his best to try to keep up with his big sister.

Zena is the model of my kids. She always poses for me.

She was having a blast. Can you see the smile on her face?

They finally got played out and we headed back towards the house.

What a fun time we had.

How the heck did you ever find the other two?

I'm with Neas- how in the world did you ever find the other two? I guess they just heard your voice and ran back to you when the time came. Too funny!

That wheat looks wonderful! Ours is still only about 8 inches tall! I love it when you can't see them and then "Pop" they jump up and then their gone again! How fun!

Libby and Jennifer- Harley stayed out of it. He didn't even think about going in. Pepper, the JRT, ran crazy thru it. I could see the wheat moving. That's the only way I knew where she was!

Did they sleep well? All that fresh air and exercise I bet they did.

I just love your dogs. They always look so happy. Course who wouldn't be running thru a wheat field?

Nothing better than seeing your babies having fun! When we lived at the beach, Rosie loved running though the dunes and the beach grass!

Oh, what a fun day! That wheat is so tall already. The grass around here has just began. Does wheat start growing early? I think it's funny you couldn't see the little dogs at all! :)

Your pups looks abused and under fed ! And why would you take them to frolic ? Dogs HATE that!

Good Lord, could that pup get chubbier? They look like they had the time of their lives! WHen we take Shannie to the beach she looks like that, total bliss and happy dog smiles.

Then she sleeps for hours :)
