Sunday Stills-Landscapes

I have to admit, I was not very excited about this assignment. For some reason, I just wasn't "feelin'" it. I waited till the last minute on Saturday to take the first pic. I pulled my point and shoot camera out of my purse and snapped the shot as I drove home from Wally World. Then I did a little magic on it with Picnik. Have you tried Picnik? It is awesome! You should give it a whirl if you haven't. It is the easiest, most user-friendly photo editing program I have found online.

Then I found this old truck photo in my archives.

I promise to be a little more spirited next week! Thanks for comin' by!

It seems to me that some of your best shots have been when you were least inspired. I especially like the truck photo. Makes me feel like I'm gettin' close to home...

I'll go check out Picnik. I'm just starting to learn a bit about editing.

Thanks for the tip.

WV - shyst ... Kind of sums up my day today.

Love both photos and don't be so hard on yourself, it is hard to be inspired after a trip to Wallyworld!
Yes, Picnic is cool and I love Flickr! They use Picnic for editing.

Like both shots, looks like you were inspired to me. Like the truck shot, need to take more of those. They are everyone around here. Guess I'll try that picnic thing.

Love the truck...and the green! They are real nice shots.
I didn't get much of a bang out of this one either. It is just past winter here, no green grass, no leaves on the trees. It looks like November, not much fun to photograph.

I like yours SO much better than mine! Everything is still so gray and ugly here. Very nice!

I too had uninspiring landscape; fun colour on your first one, and I used to have a truck just like that in the second!
