Busy Picture Takin'

Wow, it's been a week since I've posted!  Been a little busy round these parts.  The husband and I had a nice Christmas at the house.  Then my parents and niece came on Monday.  While they were here, I attempted to take her senior pictures.  Of course, it rained both Tuesday and Wednesday!  Cloudy, no sunshine at all.  But we made due with what we had.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Tell me what you think.

This is my first attempt at senior pictures.  Well, really, at "people" pictures.  I think they were happy with some of them.  But it helps bunches when the subject is so pretty!

They are amazing pictures and she is gorgeous like her aunt. I like the windblown ones.

I've been missin' you girl! Those pics are gorgeous! I love that building in the first one and I was going to say that having a beautiful subject makes takin' pictures easier, but you beat me to it! They are gorgeous and I'll bet she was thrilled!

your niece is beautiful and you did a fantastic job at her photos. Our photography teacher said that the cloudy days, even though you don't get the son, actually make for the best lighting for photos. I did a photo shoot on a rainy day for a friend of mine and got some knockout photos of her and her husband. It pays!!! especially to be you and know your stuff!!!

Those photos are amazing. Being a photographer (ammie, though) I know.

She's beautiful, but your shot composition is everything.

you go, girly. You go.

BTW I changed blog names.

I love all of them, but my favis the second one. The first one the colors are amazing. And I love the old curtains in the window. Your niece is a beautiful girl. I perfer to shoot on a cloudy day since people don't squint as much. I also shoot in the shade. I think this senior shoot was very successful!!!

Wow, is about what covers it! They all are just fantastic! When I do the son's pictures, I hope I can do just half as good a job as you did and I will be happy!

Wonderful pictures. I like the third, fourth and fifth ones.

Couldn't you find a way to sneak one of those beautiful longhorns in there? :)

There is something really timeless about that black and white one. I bet, in many years, that will be her favorite of herself. She'll never feel dated looking at it. Even cowboy hat styles change. And she sure is pretty but then so are you.

Wonderful photos of a beautiful girl. The black/white and the windswept ones are outstanding. You could do this for a living if you wanted.
