Dad was gracious enough to help his daughter out. ;)
I sure wish my parents lived closer. There are lots of things they could teach us. He had tried to tell me before that I or the husband could trim them. Just get a rasp and nippers. But I told him I didn't think it was that easy!
Thank goodness for parents!

You are right! Folks are the best! I sure don't know what I'd do without mine!
Learn from them while you can. ♥
Happy New Year!
So nice, yay for your awsome dad! Happy New Year Kit!
Lol, your dad is right! Get under those critters girl!! You can do it! I want pics or video when you do.
What a great dad :)
Happy New Year!!
Yea Daddy!
Happy New Year to you all!
Now that was a wonderful gift!
Have a happy new year.
We have a stand similar to that in the garage....it belonged to Greg's dad when he was working horses.....
Sure wish I had gotten to visit with your family while they were here, they just didn't stay long enough. Maybe next time......

It's not that easy. I've tried it. I don't have enough strength in my hands to nip off a thing while still controlling where the nipping is done, minor little detail. I can't believe how tough a hoof can be. Farriers make it look so easy..........it is NOT easy.
NO WE DON'T HAVE ONE IN THE GARAGE!!! I just remembered that Greg sent that stand to you guys....yes, you can do the trimming, you got part of the equipment!!!
Screw that--way too hard of work, especially donkey feet. They are like diamonds they are so hard.
Pay a man--cheap insurance for your back
Pearl looks like she's co-operating nicely!
It's great that he was able to help. And you could trim yourself - I do all of mine.
Yey for parents!!!
That's a mighty good dad.
