Wow, it's been a week since I've posted! Been a little busy round these parts. The husband and I had a nice Christmas at the house. Then my parents and niece came on Monday. While they were here, I attempted to take her senior pictures. Of course, it rained both Tuesday and Wednesday! Cloudy, no sunshine at all. But we made due with what we had. Here are a few of my favorites. Tell me what you think.
This is my first attempt at senior pictures. Well, really, at "people" pictures. I think they were happy with some of them. But it helps bunches when the subject is so pretty!

They are amazing pictures and she is gorgeous like her aunt. I like the windblown ones.
I've been missin' you girl! Those pics are gorgeous! I love that building in the first one and I was going to say that having a beautiful subject makes takin' pictures easier, but you beat me to it! They are gorgeous and I'll bet she was thrilled!
Love them all!
your niece is beautiful and you did a fantastic job at her photos. Our photography teacher said that the cloudy days, even though you don't get the son, actually make for the best lighting for photos. I did a photo shoot on a rainy day for a friend of mine and got some knockout photos of her and her husband. It pays!!! especially to be you and know your stuff!!!
Those photos are amazing. Being a photographer (ammie, though) I know.
She's beautiful, but your shot composition is everything.
you go, girly. You go.
BTW I changed blog names.
Great photos...I like them all. My favs are the ones with windblown hair though. Great job. I bet she was happy with her photographer.

I love all of them, but my favis the second one. The first one the colors are amazing. And I love the old curtains in the window. Your niece is a beautiful girl. I perfer to shoot on a cloudy day since people don't squint as much. I also shoot in the shade. I think this senior shoot was very successful!!!
Wow, is about what covers it! They all are just fantastic! When I do the son's pictures, I hope I can do just half as good a job as you did and I will be happy!
Ya did good but you had a great subject too! Happy New Year!
Wow! Very nice! Helps to have such a great subject to photograph. :) I like the middle one best, but it was sure hard to choose a favorite.
Wonderful pictures. I like the third, fourth and fifth ones.
Couldn't you find a way to sneak one of those beautiful longhorns in there? :)
Great pics, I think you did a great job! What a beautiful girl. I can't decide which one I like best...
They're all really good, but my picks are: 2,4,5
You can't do a bad picture with that beautiful young lady!!
I personally love two and three but all of them are great.
Andrew, my fourteen-year-old grandson, just picked two, four, five and six.
All I can say is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Kit - you did a wonderful job! Sounds like you have been busy - I like to ck on the 4 Paws blog too!
WOW! Love, love, love the B&W one!
Tough to take a bad pic of a gal that gorgeous! But still those are wonderful pictures
There is something really timeless about that black and white one. I bet, in many years, that will be her favorite of herself. She'll never feel dated looking at it. Even cowboy hat styles change. And she sure is pretty but then so are you.
WOW! First time? Looks like a seasoned photographer to me!
Beautiful girl and beautiful pics...I love them all, but the second one is a fav and I love the rainboots and umbrella pic!
Really nice work Kit. I think that would be so hard to do...you've got the knack!
Happy New Year to you and The Husband~
(LOL at my word verification 'bovia' sounds like a very feminine cow!
I see the aunt/niece resemblance in that last photo more than any other...I guess it is the smile...
Good job!! p
Gorgeous!
Wonderful photos of a beautiful girl. The black/white and the windswept ones are outstanding. You could do this for a living if you wanted.
