Sherry Sikstrom said...: We went out to check cows one day last spring ,the grass was so good that the mommas were making lots of milk , so much the field smelled like a milking parlor , those were some happy calves!

Faithful said...: I am always amazed when watching the calves nurse ..they are such little pigs! I've watched pigs nurse, too...not so messy. And as they grow they get sooo rough..Owwee..knocking their mommas pretty dang hard to get the milk to let down. The look on the Mom says it all.; July 1, 2009 at 3:07 PM
