Thumbs Up

Last night, I got the thumbs up from the Husband but it didn't start out that way. Let's take a look at yesterday's events as they progressed. It all started when we met up for supper. The Husband got a call from our Preacher Man. The Preacher Man said, "Hey, what's this photo on the internet with you and that little dog. You look like you've been on a three day drunk." I knew something was up when the Husband looked at me when he said, "WHAT?!" I just smiled and said, "Oh, did he look at my blog?" Then I got the look. The Husband said he was going to check this blog-thing out. So when I sat down last night to update, he came in the office to see what all the fuss was about. After looking at it, he decided it wasn't that bad. And when we got in bed last night, he turned over and said, "Honey, I really like your blog." Ahhhhh..........

Pop

I mentioned earlier that the Father-in-Law arrived yesterday. The Husband said they did some "work" today but I have my doubts. Plenty of running around but don't know how much "work" was involved.

And then there was this....Pops bought some mudders. They say for work purposes but I saw the worms in the fridge for fishin'. I don't know when they started thinkin' my bulb was stuck on dim. From the look of things, I'm not the dim one!!!

New Camera

So I told the Husband that I needed a new camera for my bloggin'. He just looked at me with that look. Well I do, I said. Got to have good pictures for everyone to enjoy. Welllll.......I had way too much free time on my hands at work today. Surfed the net for cameras and I'll be gosh darn that I didn't find one and buy it. Picked it up after work and came home to try it out. After the Husband saw my pics, he said I did good. Like he should ever question, will he ever learn??

Newest Additions

Thought I should show off some of our newest additions. Both are a product of me going out and buying. The husband didn't really have any say but he always seems to see things my way. This is Duke when I got him in January (1st picture). He was 6 weeks old at the time. The later picture was taken this morning. He is 5 months old now. Isn't he just precious.



And of course, we can't forget Pearl or as I refer to her, Miss Priss.

Morning Glory

So this is what I saw before leaving the house for work this morning. The father-in-law flew in yesterday evening so the husband gets to sleep in. He was giving his pouty face cause I kept trying to get a good picture. Sorry 'bout that flash! Not really!!

The Husband

So I was excited about the blog and was working on it last night. Laying on the couch with the laptop, the husband says, "what are you doing?" So I happily said I had developed us a blog. "A what?" he says. So here I go trying to explain it to my technologically unadvanced mate. After the fourth attempt, I gave up. He just gave me that blank stare and said, "Still don't get it." You don't have to I explained. Just sit back and be amazed by your wife.

And So It Begins.......

I was reading a blog online today and thought, "Hey, what a concept! I should do that." So here I go with my attempts at blogging. It may be a great failure or just a mediocre attempt but I hope someone will get something out of it. If anything, it will be a place for family and friends to come and laugh at our life moments. I am sure I will have enough material for that. Living with me and G-Man is always entertaining.
