We got some major rain on Monday night into Tuesday. So much rain that we couldn't get to town! All routes out from our house were under water.
Around 11:30am, we walked down to the little bridge right by the house. The water had already went DOWN a lot.

Crazy. Hope you will all be okay. ♥
That's a lot of water! You either have a good zoom lens or some tall gumboots!
Glad you are safe and the cattle are on high ground. Do be careful, who knows the damage water does under things.
Wow!
So, does this mean the Texas drought is over?? That is a lot of water!
That is a lot of rain.....did it go down quickly? Hope all is well....stop on over and say hi. I am back to visiting again...I was not getting out and out much as of late.
Holy cow!! Flooding always scares me. I refuse to drive through even 6" of water. It's one of those weird fears that develops for seemingly no reason!!
That is crazy! The one thing that worries me about spring is a "rain on snow event" where we have snow, then tons of rain on top of it. It can create major flooding. We had a mild one a month ago and had some roads wash out. Sometimes, I wonder what Mother Nature is doing up there, creating all kinds of havoc! Stay safe and happy weekend!!
