New Baby

We finally had a baby!!

One of the heifers we have at the house finally calved.  I love having babies around here.  We also had a baby at the lease.  Too bad I don't get to see them every day. :(

Sorry I haven't been around this week.  I've been sick with a stinkin' cold.  I think this crazy weather did me in.  Gonna be hit and miss next week too.  The husband is having his surgery on Monday.  I'll be going from the hospital to the house for a few days.  Hopefully, he'll be out of the hospital after a couple days but they could keep him until Thursday.  Hope everyone has a perfect Valentine's Day!

There's not a whole lot cuter than baby calves! I love the coloring on the one in the pic - we've had some Jersey's come out that color and I love it - I always name them chocolatey names. I'm fighting off a head cold too - here's to getting better before Valentine's Day!

Wishing quick healing for Hubby.

I have to agree that there is nothing cuter than a new calf. We are watching our girls and it looks like Leaping Lena is going to be our first mom of the year. A sure sign of spring

So cute! Nothing says springs coming better than babies.

Sorry to hear you've been sick. Winter is tough enough without illness too. Surgery on Valentine's day kind of sucks too. Will keep you husband in my prayers.

The baby is cute! Good luck to the husband tomorrow!! Happy Valentine's Day to you both also. You will have to save the celebration until the husband is feeling better or you could always do it before ;)

Oh I forgot that's where you were spending your Valentine's Day! Hope you have "fun" :) if that's possible. I'm headed to sit in the hospital waiting room tomorrow with my hubs... x-rays, MRI and something else... lab work maybe... then off to see an Ortho Specialist... fun fun! Hope everything goes GREAT for your hubs! I'll keep him in my prayers :)
