No drawl there! lol.If I ever figure out how to video myself I might goiv it a go .Meanwhile ,its called a Sun Shower here!
Yours sounds a lot like mine! We have daddylonglegs and call 'soda' Coke too! The quiz on Facebook tells me I have a western accent, but I'm from Indiana!
Hah so I am gonna have to get used to this because going to Oklahoma in a week whenever I call the school I hear that "drawl" too funny.
Fun post!! Here in Kansas we call carbonated drinks pop. We also call those little bugs that roll up rollie pollies.
I'm getting a Flip mino next week so I might have to do this!! Thanks for sharing!!
I'd say you have a bit of an accent but nothing like the Texan that married the Bossmans cousin......she's been here for just a about 30 years and I still need an interperter.
Whoo hoo! I'm so glad you did this! Girl you are silly, you're beautiful!! And about your twang......The Paintiff's family is from Kentucky and you ain't heard nothin' till you've heard Aunt Crystal talk.........lordamercy!
I love this! And you don't have a lot of drawl, but it's there!
You are SO CUTE!! I love your accent!! I was grinning the whole time. You are adorable! I can see why the husband is smitten with you :)
I guess i'll have to try this!
You did great! I love your accent, and I wish I could have one, but unless I move south I won't get to have one. I have a step sister that is from the mid west and moved to North Carolina and has the accent and love to talk to her! Its funny because I am from Illinois and people here in NY new I wasn't from around here. I didn't think the accent was that much different!
Oh Yey, you did it! You sort of have a Texas Drawl but not really bad off those words anyway :)
OH MY GOD! You are soooo thin! I would say a bit of a drawl. Just enough to be cute.
I had two friends. One from North Carolina and One from TX. They would get drunk and start in on who had the worst "accent" . Being from CA I just laughed at them both.
How do you video yourself?
This was excellant and had me smiling the whole time.
You got a gentle sweet drawl girl!
I thinks its catapillers that roll up...
Thanks for sharing!
You are so cute! And have a very sweet voice/accent!
My SISTER! Look how adorable you are!! I wondered if you had an accent?? Slight, not too much? I am with Mikey I was grinnig the whole time too:)Great about the time I come back Vblog is now the way to go:( lol
How stinkin cute are you?! I think I might do this, but I'll wait til my cold is gone..I totally sound like a dude right now. Someone called me 'sir' on the phone...ouch.
I'm with Mikey too, I was grinning the whole time. You are so cute and such wonderful expressions. Made my day!
Oh, and I would have loved to hear caterpillar.
Aw, I want to do this! I need to hurry and get my new 'puter with webcam!
Hey!! Great job...and a great idea. BTW...you DO have a Texas drawl...which fits you nicely ;~) But the pronunciation of most of the words are how we say them up here in Oregon. Uh...do you say Oregon?!?
I came over here via Linda at just another day on the prairie. You were great! Highly entertaining. And I don't know what those bugs are called, either. Potato bugs, maybe?
Well done. Accent...you bet. I because I don't know any better would not have known Texas but it is there. The bugs that roll up are Caterpillars I loved to play with them when I was a kid( you couldn't get me to touch one now)they are super fuzzy and soft, black and brown.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.....I hear this every day!!!
Yeah, you do have a Texan accent but it's not too thick; it's cute, actually, and you, girl, are a beauty!
I think this is an awesome idea! I think you did great.
Very cool! You made me chuckle when you said you don't have much of a twang. lol! You look great on camera, BTW.
That was so cool. I may just have to join along.
