I learned something this weekend. I don't think llamas like for their picture to be taken. Or maybe it was just these llamas. Or maybe they just didn't like me.
It started out well. Nice llama eating grass.
But quickly went downhill to evil llama mad-doggin' me. The pinning of the ears made me a little uncomfortable.
Pinned ears never mean anything good. I started to think I may need a spit shield. Looks like llama is gettin' a loogie ready for me. Yikes!
The evil eye continued. And yet, I still stood there taking pictures. You'd think I'd get a clue. Nah, not me!
But then I got this....and it was not pretty. Do llamas bite? Why am I still standing here?
After the gnarling of teeth, lil llama decided to call in back up!
"Hey guys, come here. We got an idiot human thinkin' she's paparazzi. Let's show her what llamas do to paparazzi!"
Okay, idiot human got the clue and backed away slowly....

LOL Llamas are just really weird critters! LOL
Alpacas are really sweet, most Llamas I have met, not so much LOL.
Yikes , I would rather stand in front of cattle than Llamas ,I get cows!Llamas... not so much
spitters. RUN!
LOL too funny!
You and my husband! Llamas let me love on them and sweet talk, but as soon as Shawn comes around he gets the "evil one eye", pacing and Llama moaning , ! Thats hilarious!
Yes and they like to throw up on you when they get mad.....
well that could be better than being bit by those big teeth I guess! LOL
You are soo funny! I love coming over to see you in the morning, it made me smile for the first time this morning. I wish I had your since of humor! Is your mama a Llama? :)
HA! Such a funny post to make me smile this mornin!
hehe, that's the face my llama makes to my ram. but that's only at feeding time. the rest of the time they are buddies :).
I love animals but I very rarely get close to llamas. I've seen one spit at someone and it wasn't pretty and smelled terrible. Plus I'm pretty much eye level with them. Great pics.
gotta say...not a fan of llamas. That's why we pack with goats. Easier then horses and way less expensive.
What? You will crawl in with the cows, and you are worried about a hairy long necked llama? lol Ok I would be too, cows don't spit. ew why would you want an animal that would spit at you? (blank stare)
I have never said, I want a llama.
Great photos, oh brave one. Can you outrun spit?
You're lucky the llama was scared spitless!
OHHH LOL!!! Those pictures are classic!! Especially the one with his teeth LOL!!! I wouldn't have the first clue what to do if one started doing that to me!!
