Hey Lucky Dog!

So Lucky Dog, whatcha think of momma running in the race tomorrow?

Dad had that same look on his face.  But you know what, it's sponsored by the local hospital!  So surely there will be lots of medical personnel available.  That's good news.

What?  No faith?  You better watch it mister, I'll make daddy your master instead of me!

Be careful, take precautions to keep from injuring yourself. And tell George....hey, you kept climbing on bulls, dude!

Haha... it seems you got your answer there, didn't you!? pbbbtt!

Just take care, and STOP if you get to hurting! I mean that! But then again... if you keep going and then get all laid-up and such, just think if the time for blogging that you'll have!

Good luck darlin', and have a GREAT run!!

Oh you runners, maybe you should take a page out of Bootsie's book. Lay in the sun, and relax. Just kidding.

Take it slow, and easy, better to finish this run with a walk, then not to get into the next one at all.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

I'd take the dog's advice! But then again, I would never sign up for a 5K to begin with; running is NOT my forte. Give me a bike and I'll go forever. Just joined in your story, and read a little bit about your running journey. Take care of yourself, but kick some butt! I really really hope you are able to finish, meaning, the injury doesn't impede you.
