The Dangers of Photography

I was so excited to see some signs of Spring this evening.  Even though it may be weeds blooming, it's still blooms.  And I wanted to share them with you cause I know many of y'all are still in the doldrums of winter.  I found these in the yard.

And while I'm sittin' in the grass, trying to take pictures of this lil patch of bloomin' weeds, I have to contend with this....

And his Jolly Ball....

Where did the tail come from?

Guess he decided to lay in the weeds.  That'll get my attention.

Not working, so he tries takin' them out with the back legs.

Really, I have no idea what's goin' on here...

Diesel was wearing me out.  I was knocked over countless times.  Pushed against even more.  Numerous appendages were chewed on.  AND I received a blood blister on my A$$ where he nipped me!  Not to mention the destruction of my shirt...

I can't wait till he turns about 5....4 years and 2 months to go.  He'll be settled down by then, huh?

Ha! I had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM yesterday afternoon trying to get a picture of a stray crocus blooming in my yard. I had to go to a different one because silly Ellie totally destroyed the one I was takin' pictures of trying to get me to take pictures of HER! Jealous much? Also, our dog Ginger (the boxer) loves her jolly ball! Ellie chewed the handle off but boy they play with that ball for hours! Thanks for the glimpse of spring!

Nothing like an interrupted photo shoot! Dogs are so much like kids!

I can't believe how GREEN your grass is! Ours is starting to come back, but nothing like that! I'm green with envy! ;)

Since we are still in mudville right now, the dogs are SOOO not a welcome site. :)

Gorgeous flowers, I'm jealous!! Somehow I don't think that pup is going to "grow" up in the way you hope ;)

I'm with Jocelyn! No teeth EVER! That boy needs to be taught some manners. YOU have to be Alpha or he is going to be more trouble that you can handle. IMHO :)

Such a character but not sure what I'd think about a blood blister of my b*tt. A little too much exuberance there.

You gave me a good chuckle about the blood blister! Zoey is 6 months old and every bit the terror so I can totally related. And she's no where near his size. She does the same thing - no personal boundaries with her.

The Diesel interference photos are funny. Tess comes and sits against me and leans so hard she about knocks me over, when I'm on the ground shooting photos- I can't imagine how hard it is to do with that big boy around!

He is a MONSTER! A cute one, though.

*squinting* Blooms? What blooms? lol! After the first pic, all I see is doggie parts!
Gotta love the little goofball, though, don't you?
(and thank you for posting pics of your shirt, and not your...ahem, nether regions!)

Okay, the leg and tail ones had me rolling!! LOL!! What a big silly boy!! We must have the same weeds! My boys picked me some "flowers" yesterday!! I love it when they do that!! You got one good shot of them!!! And girl, your shirt!!! Yikes!! :) little stinker!!

I agree with everybody so far, cute puppy, cute flowers, BUT Deisel needs limits, limits, limits!!! Man, you're gonna need a cattle prod by the time he's full grown just to leave the house. Funny photos, but I seriously see a Dog whisperer Moment in your near future if you don't get Deisel in hand. Cesar will be all over both of you for not setting limits on that kind of behavior...
Love your blog, keep it up!! E>)
