What Did You Do to My Cow Dog??

While we were enjoying our time in Dallas this weekend, Harley was gettin' a haircut and boarded at the vet.  I had the husband drop him off Saturday morning.  I didn't want to be the bad guy.  He was not a happy camper.  We picked him up Sunday afternoon.  The vet tech brought him out and my first words were, "Harley, what did they do to you!"

He was so excited, he didn't even care they emasculated him.  But once he got over his initial happiness, I could tell he was quite upset.  It took forever for him to look at me to get a picture.

Doesn't he look so dejected.  Poor guy.  In the 12 1/2 years we've had him, don't think he's ever had a bow in his hair.  Polka dots just don't go with his spiked collar.

Oh my.
I'ma thinkin' you might want to watch your ankles a bit more closely this coming week as he might be a little nip-ish....seriously, you took a picture of him WITH the bow still on...his humiliation is so very apparent!
I certainly hope you gave him a nice smackral of something in an attempt to buy his forgiveness...since I dont think begging for it will work this time!!

Um, I know he is probably neutered, but could they not tell that he is a boy? Seriously. Why in the world would they put a bow in a male dog's hair? At least they gave him a blue bow. You better check his toenails, they may be polished. Harley looks cute, minus the bow.

You can't put polka dots on a cow dog. He's going to scare the cows!

If I've told you once, I've told you a bazillion times to stop abusing that poor little dog. He looks miserable with the new look. :-(

Poor guy - but I bet all the snarls and tangles are gone. Ready for spring - after removal of the bow! Like Leah said, a bandana would have worked better.

Oh I think every boy should have at least one hair bow.......poor guy!! I bet he is glad he is home. I don't think our girl dog has ever had a bow on her. You are right it just doesn't go with spiked collars.

Weird... couldn't get the comments section to come up on the bully video. I look at bulls like that and think people are CRAZY to want to ride one! He did not look like a happy camper.

Other news... my diet is not doing well. Wayyy too much eating out last week & yes, I have a ton of excuses why I didn't work out.

Did have horses out last night & running in coveralls and snow boots and walking spooked horses down the road for a mile was a pretty good workout though!
