You Know What This Means...

Yep, the fence is DONE! Didn't the husband do an awesome job on the gate. I just love it. Especially the decorative endcaps.

Now we need to make a sign to hang from the overhead to finish it off. Oh, and I need to paint it but that's nothing major.

The dogs don't know what to think about it. They are used to runnin' a muck!

Harley was gettin' to use his doggie door again. Yeah!

But we still have this issue. Pepper.

She is just small enough to fit thru the door. So we either have to keep her out of the yard so Harley can use the doggie door. Or leave her in and close the door. Arggg! Cause Pepper is not allowed in the house.

We tried closing it some and Harley could still fit. But Pepper managed to bust her way thru and eat Harley's supper! Lil Stinker! So for now, she's in the yard and Harley's door is closed. If we leave her out, she barks nonstop. She thinks she runs the ranch or something!

Now all I have to do is find that puppy. I've been lookin' but haven't found the right one yet. He's out there, I know it!

LOL I love the pepper butt.
There is a solution to the doggie door. Get one that only opens for a device on harleys collar. They are totally worth the extra $$ and that means no other critters can get in your house either.

Wow, that is one great gate! I think your hubby could do it as a business on the side!!
Why can't Pepper go inside? I can't remember! Maybe if he eats enough of Harley's meals he won't be able to fit through that door, LOL! :)

Love the gate! My lab is a barker, if he can't see us, and he has to sleep on the floor in our bedroom or he will bark all night long!!

You win some and lose some with those gosh darn dog and their quirky habits!
Love the new fence! Wow! Your husband is awesome! Is this to keep the neighborly folk away or keep the cattle at bay?
And I did not mean for that to rhyme!

Awesome job on the fence! Absoluetly beautiful gate.
I agree w/Sydney. Electronic dog collar/door, only lets your pet in.

The Husband did a great job; it looks professional! And I want to see a close up of the center of the gate too. Are you going for a plasma cut metal sign/artwork to hang from the overhead?
