Brulee transformed from a sweet timid little girl into a "don't make me open this can of whoop a$$" girl!
She didn't care who you were, she was gonna be the new boss...the Queen Bee of Calves, the Duchess of Dirt, the Lady of the Lease, the Princess of the Pasture.
This one didn't seem to understand so Brulee had to smack him around a little. I think from the look on his face, he got the point!
This one smarted off to Brulee. Said something like he was the boss 'round here and Brulee would never measure up. Brulee gave him a black eye! Don't know what I'm gonna do with that girl!
Oh, I also wanted to give you an update on Bucky. You remember her don't ya....
Poor little girl. Well, she grew into her teeth. This is how she looks now.
Isn't it amazing how much they change in such a small amount of time. Would you have known that was her?

Bucky is a beautiful cow, no I never one have known it was the same girl.
What a really neat picture story! Gorgeous babies.
They are fun and silly to watch hey?
Wow did Bucky ever grow up! She's a looker now!
Funny how fast they change ! your calves look great ! we have a few scrappers around here too but mostly its just run and buck!
Very very cool! They all look great! We had to bring a springing cow out of the lot behind the barn that she was in back down with the main herd. There was some scrapping going on in there. NOT looking forward to bringing my big three year old back down this weekend or early next week. I think fights will abound!
Goes to show you that you can't judge a book by the cover... in either case. As spunky as Creme Brulee is I'd be thinking that the husband will be wanting to keep her for breeding stock. Come out with a whoop a$$ bucking bull out of her.
Totally wouldn't have recognized her, and I'm bummed she grew into those teeth. I liked those!
oh eeee! I love calves. Their big ears and all. cute!

somebody has to be in charge.....and it looks like it is going to be her!!!!!
That girl knows how to kick some arse, doesn't she? That's my kinda cow!

Bucky? OMG... I miss her cute little sticky-out teeth, but she's sure grown into a beauty, hasn't she???
Who would have thought that there was so much drama out in those pastures? I sure would have never thunked it.

Oh good for Bucky, wasn't sure how you were going to fund all those dental bills for braces! ;)

I thought that Creme Brulee was supposed to be sweet...maybe somebody should tell that to Miss Bossy Pants!
Such drama going on! It's like watching my soaps!
She looks totally different now, she is growing fast!
Oh sweet Bucky. I kinda liked Bucky's teeth!! And she has changed a lot. Those calf fights are funny!! What a mean little Brulee!!
Love your pictures of your cows and calves! They are beauties!
Sometimes I laugh at the personalities animals display--just like humans in so many ways!

But darn that Creme Brulee, what a bruiser!
What a wonderful triute to your Mom. You have touched my heart and soul with your courage to go on after losing so much. I do understand how your children can give you that strength, and I too, know how our children keep us sane in times of despair. I also believe we leave a huge legacy to our children and grandchildren in how we face and deal with painful and devastating events such as yours. You will be in my prayers and I thank you for sharing.
Bucky is a beauty, now! I'm sure it's really a good thing that she grew into those teeth, but they were so cute!!
I liked that toothy little calf! That photo still makes me smile! How she has changed! No, I would have been looking for the calf with the braces! :)
