Sunday Afternoon Walk

The kids and I went for a walk Sunday afternoon. I thought it would be nice to go in the neighbor's green field and let the dogs play. Plus I was tired of taking drab pictures. Our outing was pretty mild. Nothing like our past adventure (click here in case you missed it.)!

Here are a few pics...
Harley frolicking in the winter wheat.

Zena having lots of fun running.

Pepper at attention cause she knows there is something out there she must kill.

Must have been a field mouse. Sent these two in a frenzy.

And sweet Lil Man watchin' all the going ons.

Nothing prettier than an animal in winter wheat. You make me miss living the country life, girlfriend.

Oh Pepper...I hope you got that field mouse. A JRT w/out quarry is an unhappy dog...and I would never want to hear of you having a bad day.

Love the dog pics! Makes me realize I need to do something now besides errands and starin' at this one eyed monster in front of me. Time for an ahhhh moment.

I've heard of quicksand but never quick mud. That would have freaked me out. Thanks for the laugh at your expense! (But really, that's kinda scary, too....)

Just the sight of all that green has me wanting to kick my heels up and run around looking for quarry!

The ones with Harley and Zena running through the wheat makes me think of an Alpo commercial. ;-)
Happy Dogs eat Alpo!

The pictures are so cute of your menagerie of friends. I wish I was there playing too, it must be warm, we are still in winter here. I'm so jealous of your green grass...

Well I am so jealous of the green grass and the adorable kids! We are still brown and only thing green are the daffodils are up.

My favorite photo is Lil Man.

I visited Houston last August. (Left right before 'Ike' hit.) Before my trip I assumed Texas would be hot and brown. Well, it was hot, but it certainly wasn't brown! I was blown away by all the green and all the beauty. Wouldn't mind visiting Texas again!

Love your family photos! Can't wait to see they come together next Christmas! Lil Man won't be lil anymore, and will no doubt be making bigger holes after those mice, than the others all put together.
Awwww...thanks for the GREEN!
