Miss Crazy M Ranch 2008

Big doin's at the ranch last night. We held our first annual Miss Crazy M Ranch pageant. All the cows were a buzz with the thought of being crowned Miss Crazy M. The barn was packed when the festivities began.

After several rounds of competition, it was down to the top two, Ruby Sue and Mudpie.

Ruby Sue

Mudpie

They had stunned the audience in the talent portion (Ruby Sue burped the alphabet and Mudpie mooed a revised classic called Who Let the Cows Out) so it was no surprise they were the ones to beat.

They each were given a current events question to help determine the winner.

Ruby Sue's question was: The administration of the nation will soon change hands. What do you hope will transpond from the change?

Ruby Sue's answer: "ummm..........World Peace!"

Mudpie's question was: The nation's economy is currently in a negative slide. What would you suggest to people in an effort to make it through these trying times?

Mudpie's answer: "I would suggest everyone become a vegetarian. Plant a garden. I will even fertilize it for you!"

The crowd erupted in applause. By the reaction from the audience, there was a clear favorite. However, it was up to the Judges to make the final decision.

There was a lot of headbutting going on by the Judges but a winner was chosen.

And the winner is.....................

Ruby Sue!

The crowd was stunned. They couldn't believe Mudpie was beaten out. The grumbles grew louder and louder. How could this have happened? But then, the realization hit them.

Of course Ruby Sue won. She has.......

well.....

BIG TEETS!

HAHAHAHAH! That is such a wonderful post. I was giggling the whole time! Us big chested girls know how to use our assets! :)

I think Mudpie is very pretty. I love her smokey color!

I'm having a give-away so drop by if you have time!

Oh that was too funny! A really tree-moo-ndous post! No bull - just pure laughter! My favourite won, not because of her assets, but her colouring. However, I just can't resist Mudpie's horns - too cute how one just twists down. And what a gracious loser...

That was hilarious!
Ruby Sue was clearly the obvious choice!
But Mud Pie had that cute horn goin on.

I am deathly afraid of cows. My FILAW is a cattle rancher and we will someday take it over. I'll have to deal with my issue eventually!

you are so squirrelly--I love it

While Ruby Sue is packing here, I think Mudpie has a nice edgy look.

I am sure in the event that Ruby Sue cannot complete her duties, Mudpie will be ready to step in, right?

Oh I love Ruby Sue! She has it all girl- a flashy hair coat, wicked to die for spots and miles of horn! Plus the big teets- how could she lose!

I thought mudpie was gonna win b/c of her horns! I didn't realize that Ruby Sue was so, uh, blessed? I think you're the first farm-type blogger I've read that has a little dirty sense of humor! :) I love it!

Thanks for the morning laugh! (morning? it's only 3:45 am here)
I had my fingers crossed for Mudpie, but it just shows that if you got 'em... flaunt 'em. Poor Mudpie. I'm not blessed either in the udders department so I understand her pain.
