Cha Cha Cha Changes....

The grass is turning green around these parts.  I love the signs of Spring!

And babies are being born!

And the husband bought me a new truck!

And I love it even though the dealer came and towed it from my work 4 days after driving it off the lot!  Yep, long story.  But hopefully the kinks will be worked out soon and I will have it back.

And we, or I should say I, brought Penelope home...

Diesel doesn't quite know what to think of this little girl.  He's slowly learning to share.  Or maybe just tolerate.

She was free from someone in the area.  I had tried adopting three puppies from the shelter but they were gone before I could get there each time.  Then I found her ad on craigslist.  She's suppose to be a Ridgeback mix.  That was what Zena was and she was such a great dog.  So I went to check her out.  The people had many dogs.  The daddy was very much a ridgeback, momma not so much.  So she's more mix than anything. She turned 5 weeks old on Wednesday.  And I think the husband really likes her even though he's trying to keep it under wraps.  I can tell!

Seems like I've been gone so long!  I stay busy with the animals and work.  I get in from work and take care of feeding.  Then get in the house and usually crash.  Haven't been on the computer much.  The husband went back to work this week.  He also started physical therapy on Friday.  So he's pretty worn out each day.  Hopefully, I'll get back in the swing of things and blog more frequently, if only to post a quick picture.  Miss y'all!

Oh I'm jealous - it is so nice and green there. We still have lots of snow although the sun is now putting some heat out! We will have lots of mud before I can say it sure is nice summer is here! Penelope is a cutie - looks like she will be big... we added a new pup also (Kodi) stop over for a visit! Oh and I love the baby calf pictures - especially the grey peppered one.

I wish we had signs of Spring. I love the new pup and her coloring. Ridgebacks are awesome dogs. After 10 months of Trixie being gone we decided it's time to start looking for a new dog. Our hearts are still broken over our little Trix though. It'll be tough, but I'm sure a new pup will help heal our wounds.

The baby is soo cute! Diesel has a new playmate :) The hubby drives the same kind of truck for work. We have had Fords, dodges, and chevies and we are looking into a new one but we love our dodge that we have now and even though it is a rust bucket it goes any where and it sits up off the ground and we just love it that we hate to replace it. I think all brands have their up and downs. We had a f-150 that was a piece of junk but had a 250 that we loved. We have a Chevy that runs good but it is hopeless in any kind of really deep snow and mudd and the dodge we have now we have put work into but it is old and it just goes anywhere! Hope all the bugs get worked out. But watch out the hubbies truck (2500) had to have a new computer put into it after 100,000 miles! I love to see all your new calves!
