President Day Giveaway!

How did you spend your President's Day?  Well, I had jury duty!!  Way fun.  Not really, it wasn't.  Luckily I wasn't picked.  So how do I make this Prez Day better?  A giveaway of course!!

CSN Stores have been graciously giving me gift certificates for awhile now.  I haven't heard anything but good things from all my previous winners so I continue to use them.  And fortunately, they keep asking me to do more!  If you've never been to their site, they have everything.  You can get flip flops or adjustable bar stools.  So I know the winner will find something to spend that free money on!

You want to know how much you're playing for?  $70!!  Yep, the gift certificate is worth $70, however, it does not include shipping costs (truthfully, there are bunches of free shipping items).  You can use the certificate on any product at any CSN site.

How about some entry details....well, it's pretty dang simple.  Leave me a comment.  It can be about your day, a question for me, a question for the Husband, a request for a post, or just a nice how do you do!  Anything, just leave me a comment.  But you have to enter by 7pm Central, Thursday, February 24, 2011.  The winner will be selected by random draw.

Good Luck!!

Oh, I couldn't leave you without a picture of one of our presidents.....love me some cowboy Ronald Reagan.

Of course, I have to ask, how did Husband enjoy (make it thru) 'Iron Cowboy' last night? I feel asleep twice and was astounded it was still on at 2:30am!! (I'm in Brooklyn so it was late, for me anyway...;-)

CSN is a pretty good outfit with lots of cool stuff. We don't get a holiday today, but some of the other provinces do, like Alberta. Hope the husband is doing better!

We have "Family Day" here in Alberta. I got to stay home and be "in-charge" while the Bossman went to a bull sale.

You had a Grrrreat President's Day, HA HA!!! I know, not really.

I had to work today while everyone else enjoyed the day off.

The giveaway sounds like a great way to get your mind off of the day : )

My back patio was way past needing cleaned so I spent the after noon cleaning it, and then that earned me blog time with out feeling guilty.

I grew up in cattle country in NM and love the pictures of your ranch. Please keep them coming. I hope you had a great day and best wishes to your husband for a speedy recovery.

You picked a very good president, did you know that I lived only 20 minutes from his family home in Dixon, Illinois? I had a sick hubby and son, so we did not do too much today but stay home and relax for the first part of the day until later when the hubby couldn't sit still anymore. Hope the husband is feeling better!

Oh and I forgot, he was also born on the same day and month I was.

Put my name in the hat, please.

If I don't win that, you may have to bring me one of your pound puppies as a consolation prize.

I am laying in bed with an 13 yr old springer spaniel, 2 yr old St Bernard and a 4 yr old German Shepherd, reading blogs & watching Dr. G Medical Examiner.

I am seriously concerned about myself.... :)

Now where's that dang cat?

I worked and went to my quilting guilds board meeting. Nothing like 16 women who all want to run things... Happy to come home to 2 silent cats and no people.

I was given polo pony bit* and reins to repurpose. The reins became dog leashes. The bits have me stumped
*city girl here-whatever that metal thing is that goes in horses mouth with rings at either end to attach the reins. Can you use them? Two bits-one has a copper rolly thing in the middle and one says Quick on it.

Count me in for the drawing please! :) How nice of them to keep giving you stuff to give away.

I hope your husband heals up fast. Sounds like quite an ordeal, but he also sounds like one tough guy!

My day: snow, snow, and more snow, and making sure the horses have plenty to eat to keep them warm.

I spent my Presidents Day in the ER, then surgery, then in the hospital. The day started out great snow skiing with my family but then I fell and shattered my wrist. Ouch for sure! A long recovery means lots of shopping via the internet. Thanks for the giveaway, maybe this will perk me up a bit~
