This was the backyard on Sunday morning.
Our bull pens were just as bad. I took this picture yesterday evening.
Just a muddy mess. We penned and loaded some bulls in this on Monday morning. Good thing we didn't need to get anywhere fast! I wasn't very speedy sloshin' thru that muck.
But truly, I was just happy to see this...
sun glaring off the water!!
Other than that, not much else going on. We are waiting for our heifers to calve.
Stubby and Eyebrows are waiting on treats!
And the dogs are waiting for the Husband to come home.

Ohhh that is some mud. Like quick sand kind of mud. Oi. Those are some fine looking dogs though, damn they are gorgeous.
Oh darlin' that makes me so glad for temps in the 20's! Mud is what I hate the most, and I'd be one depressed farm girl if I was dealin' with that. My time will come though, long about March, that's what my backyard will look like. Glad you are getting some sun!! How's the toe??

Wow, that's a bunch of rain! Bet the dogs weren't so happy, looked like their dog house was flooded :) Glad you guys got sunshine :)
I'll take the snow over the constant mud.... although that dirty time arrives in the spring around here....
....This too shall pass.... Specially if that sunshine hangs around, it'll dry up. The dogs look pretty clean, guess they stay away from the bull pens. My collies go splashing right through everything when they are focused on "helping" me do chores!nn
Your Dogs look soo clean....if we had gotten that much rain, my furballs would be a horrible muddy mess!!!
Please send some of that great sunshine our way!! We had freezing rain and sleet yesterday and the weather man is calling for more snow tomorrow night.

The sun is shining on the water where I'm at too! It's the Pacific ocean on venice beach where the weather is pretty nice, even if one does love cold snowy winters

That would have been a lot of snow!
As much as I hate to say this....I would SO rather be dealing with rain then the nasty ice and snow we've got going on here!! But I do hate it when all the pens are flooded like that!
