Our Awesome Kids

I think my kid is a soccer superstar.  I know parents always think their kids are the best but mine truly is.  Diesel is an all-star goalie.  Any team would love to have him guard their goal.  And he takes his practice very serious.  He practices day and night.



The husband tries to fake him out.  As you can see, it doesn't work!  He's gettin' really good.  Santa brought him the new soccer ball for Christmas.  It's his third one.  But he still likes playing with the flat ones too.  He can grab them out of the air really well.

Then we have our smarty pants kid, Pepper.  She never ceases to amaze us.  After I told the husband what she did today, he said she needs to be in gifted and talented. ;o)  What did she do, you ask?  Well, when I got home she ran in the house.  So I let her stay in while I was changing my clothes.  I walked thru the living room and she was at the closet.  Showing me there was something in there.  She does that outside when she finds a mouse under the doghouse.  Anyhoo, I go to the closet and ask her if something is in there.  She tells me yes.  I'm thinking great, I really don't want a mouse in the house.  But at least Pepper is here and she'll catch it.  She's an awesome mouser.  So I open the door and guess what was in there.....her tennis ball!  I didn't even know her tennis ball was in there.  I think our dog may be too smart for us!
