It's a Crying Shame

They are a lot better today.  There was actually a silent minute outside earlier!

I can so sympathize with you. I separated sheep the other day - not weaned mind you, just separated into different pens - and the noise was amazing!

Just got things quiet here a week or so ago,but that sound is all too familiar.Funny ,when it got quiet I bet it made you look.Quiet at weaning time here usually means a wreck in progress!

Cow question--is the calf that you can see at about the 47 second mark on the video called a Florida cracker??? DO NOT LAUGH AT ME:)!:)
It looks almost exactly like on of our calves and we were told it is called that?

Thanks for sharing this. :)

I know your pain....that sound has been constant around here. We have a few different pastures and just about the time we get one group quited down we end up getting another group from another pasture. Oh well that's the way it goes when we are trying to do a million things at once.

Sounds like a cattle drive!

Anonymous-I've never heard of a Florida cracker? Our cattle is crossbred with a line of cattle called Plummer. I'll have to ask the Husband if he's ever heard of that.

Love the videos. Our son loves cows! Not sure how many times we have replayed the videos of the bucking ones but he loves it!
