Yep, I thought this might happen. That's why I didn't name them. I figured it was just a matter of time until one or both met their maker.
When we returned from Corpus, we found girl kitty in the yard. You read that right, in the YARD! I don't think she was the brightest bulb. Why would you walk into a yard of barking dogs just wanting to attack ya?
In my mind, I see Pepper leaning against the fence, whispering in a low voice, "Hey kitty, come here. Yea, yea, right thru here. Got something to show ya."
Male kitty was safe and sound in the barn. He knows better than to go near the yard or at least I think he does. Fingers crossed he learned from sister's mistake.

Oh no! Poor little thing! You cant blame a dog for doing what they do, but its so sad when that happens
Too bad ! Its funny around here Skeet likes to chase the cats , but if they don't run he doesn't hurt them . And Winston loves them , tries to be a momma cat and cleans them(worst that he would do is drown them with drool)
Poor kitty never stood a chance!
So sorry!
Do like we do, have so many barn cats we don't know when one goes missing...teasing.
I know it is sad that things like that happen. Heck I was worried about Jackie when Mom got her new puppy, all went okay, but, JRT are just kinda bred to be varmit killers and the poor kitty was just another varmit to her.
I hate it when that happens. Dumb kitties I mean.
One I thought disappeared from the farm has been spotted on the property twice this week. She looks round. Uh oh. hell maybe it is not a she at all. that would be good
Aww, that's too bad. Sometimes you just have to wonder what they were thinking... hope the other lil guy knows better!
And I thought girls were the smartest.
We've got an old mama cat here I should send you......she's a dog trainer;) Of course she's smart and probably would have trained from OUTSIDE the yard.
we have a jack also and we have the same problem can't keep cats.... he is okay with them until they run then that is there death sentence!
Darwinisim. Sometimes it's a real bitch.
Oh boy! My dogs usually leave the cats alone unless they start running away from them then they are fair game and the chase is on!
