Babies Abound

Jade had a lil girl yesterday.

The husband called me at work this morning to ask how to make the fancy camera zoom.  After a quick lesson, which was, turn the lens, the husband was off and shootin'.  He got this one for y'all.

We don't know if she will be a red roan or if she will brindle out.  They change so much as they get older.  We do know she's pretty spry.  The husband said she was runnin' all around this morning.  When I got home just before dark, she was runnin' across the pasture.  Poor Jade was trying to keep up with her.

I just love babies!

Hey, your hubby's not so bad behind the camera! Pretty soon you might be having to tell him to get his own camera! :-D

I'd have to do a big "gulp" if my husband called me about using my camera (of course THAT will never happen around here, he's too scared of it). I envy you all the collor you have, ours will be red and white, red and white red and white....boring red and white.

Hello, I'm Sue, and found your blog via the blog chain. I just wanted to pop in and "introduce" myself and say what a great blog you have and I hope you won't mind my popping in. My hubby and I have a farm in Maine (you can check out my blog too) and we just so enjoy being there and seeing other "farms" from around the country. I was so sorry to hear that you lost your wonderful dog... did he have "ridgeback" in him because I noticed the ridge in the photos you shared.. I had a ridgeback when I was a young adult.. she was a great dog. Well, just wishing you the best
