Cow Whispering 101

**Please do not attempt this at home.  I am a professional or an idiot, take your pick.**

First, call up hungry cows.

Second, pour feed out for said cows.  As cows eat, get on hands and knees and proceed to crawl towards them.

Once among the group, try enticing cow with cube.

Don't give up, try another.

But remember, balance is key.  It takes great skill to crawl across pasture on all fours.

A skill I have yet to master!  I think I hit a rock.

Also a word to the wise....as the husband said as I was out among the cows, "honey, don't get smoked."

I did not get ran over, mission accomplished.

As a gal that's been "smoked" good job on not having it happen! Of course I've only been run over by babies, and had their pointy little hooves down the front of my shirt, but that was enough! What the heck were you doing anyway? lol

LOL thats hilarious! What was the reasoning behind crawling on the knees?

What in the world were you doing? I'm convinced you've got the cow whispering down pat just because nobody thought to check you out! What was your escape plan?

ya know, I'll work cattle all day long as long as I am horseback. I don't like to be on my own 2 feet in the same pen as a cow. gives me the heebeejeebee's.

So there fore, you are CRAZY!! haha

well if you had been doing that here today, we never would see you again. Under the dusting of snow-we have feet of mud. It is appalling

LMAO!!! What in the WORLD are you thinking? You crazy!!!
Lol, we're taming "ours" (the ranchers) by feeding them handfuls over the fence. Got to watch your fingers :) I also try to cop a feel on their face, so far I haven't done so well w/that. But man, if I went out like you just did, for SURE I'd get "smoked" lol. These mamas here hit the fence if you get too close to their babies. You is a brave, brave girl... and great for a laugh!!

Girl- you're so funny! We have some really gentle cows in our herd that will cake right out of your hands. I don't know if I'd try that in your herd. You're certainly braver than me! You look like you're dressed for the arctic. How cold was it?

Somewhere I have a picture of me sleeping between two show bulls at the West Palm Beach Fair. They were as gentle as long as they were haltered. However, I would NOT try to walk in their pasture much less crawl on my knees.

Crazy M is right!

YOU.ARE.NUTS!
Either that, or your just practicing your New Years Eve crawl. One or t-other!

You wouldn't catch me messin' with cows on TWO feet, let alone on all fours - not for love or money! (makes it hard to run when you're in that position)
