Whatcha Think?

So I am doing that arts and crafts show early December. I thought I needed to take more than just my prints. Been doing some experimenting on different projects. I came up with this....

magnet

It's a magnet. Measures around 4x5.

Then a great blogger friend suggested I make lil pictures. So I made some minis.

mini

mini2

They measure around 2x3. That way if someone can't afford a large print, maybe they will buy a mini-one?

So what do ya think? Would you buy this stuff? Price range from $5-$10.

The frame is beautiful - and the minis are a great idea.... we went to a craft fair this past weekend.... wish we could come to the one your going to be at! Your price range sounds appropriate... Best of luck!

I can't resist!
I'd be happy to spend $5-$10 for a picture of your husband's backside.
That is your hubby's backside ...isn't it?
and be sure to tell him not to let it go to his head! :)
Hope you do well at the sale.
Your photos are always great!

Looks like good marketing; always have something for those who can't spend a lot of money. I'm lovin' the magnet idea; nice frame and it could have a lot of different photos.

How about barn wood mini frames? Maybe some local handyperson can make some up for you? The minis are a great idea and I like the hide frame magnet too.

Have you thought about making a set of note cards? Either with sayings or just blank? I have an artist friend in Bartlesville that has made a bunch of money on repros of her chicken and rooster paintings shrunk down to card size. It's always good to have low-end items because a lot of times they also lead to bigger sales. Another artist friend sells small prints and she has told me many times about selling one of her originals to someone that saw some of her small pieces.

Just a thought from a retired custom picture framer...

I think it's a great idea in this economy to offer the small ones. Very sweet idea!

Look at you! Verry verry nice. Yes I would buy one or two or three.. Small is good people tend to pick up smaller items, especially at shows. They don't want to pack larger items through the people. Also you show offer shipping. (for a price) tell them you will send it gift wrapped. In time for the holidays. Also if you take orders, get a small deposit, that way you will weed out the "just looking" Make sure they know YOU took all the pictures. lol sorry did you ask for all that?? Good luck! I wish I could come see you!

Great ideas! Love the mini's especially. Note cards would be great also and super easy to make! The ones I buy come from a guy in Cederville of local ranch scenes and he prints a small note on the back saying where the photo was taken with his copyright and name etc...I pay $15.00 for 6 (with envelopes, and they are all in individual clear wrappers.)
Good luck!
