I called the husband this afternoon and he informed me that a friend had showed up at the house. They were going to take some old scrap metal to the recycling plant and fill his bottles for the cutting torch. Awesome, that means progress! When I got home, I saw the welder was out.
They moved it next to the fence line, ready to start that top rail once the line posts are saddled.
But then I saw this. And I realized there might not have been as much work going on today as initially believed. The husband said he only drove it to get the mail. Hmmm.......
So I fed them supper, and sent them back out to work. I kept an eye on them from the windows.
I didn't want to distract them from working so I even took pictures from the house. Didn't want to give them any reason to get off task!
I think I'm gonna have to start crackin' that whip!

LOL MY husband is also easily distractable, I would of had to of hid the keys to that thing to get him to do anything. Fence looks to be progressing nicely.
lol distractions!! Go bake them things and tell them they can only eat after they are done!
Lol! Kit , you gotta watch 'em! In defence...it is been too hot for all work with no play!
A little work, a little play , gotta keep a balance right?
OHHHH, that is funny!!! Not for you but that they've been caught LOL!! Keep up the good persuasion!!
Oh dear - boys and their toys, eh? Lucky you're around to crack that whip! ;-)
I think you did a good job at cracking the whip!! But I hate to say it, the other thing looks alot more fun!! My son has an old one and I had to give it a try and now we are talking about getting a bigger one that is two seater and bigger so mom can have fun also!! Or should we just buy two??
Looks like Pepper has good supervisory skills. Give that dog a government job!!!!
Girl, do I need to take pictures of all my "started but unfinished" projects! Your's is lookin' good!
Soo funny. A pipe fence was recently put along our road, and it seemed to take forever! They would start talking and sit down, I was ready to threaten them with a shotgun!
Typical Jack....Watchin' the hole!
one boy is a boy..two boys are a half of a boy..but two boys and a sand rail are no boy at all!!!
(psst..you shoulda taken' it for a spin when they weren't lookin')
LOL I'd have taken that contraption on a long tour too!! Glad to see your getting your project finished.
