Turkey Disease??

I have to tell y'all about the conversation I had with the Husband on Easter. It's one thing that has made me laugh over the past few days and I thought it might make you as well.

For Easter, I cooked ham, mac and cheese, potatoes, green beans and apple pie for dessert. Don't think to much of it, most was out of a box, can or bag! Anyhoo, the Husband ate well. After he finished, he took his plate to the kitchen and was talkin' about how stuffed he was. Then he said it....

"I think I might have that turkey disease."

Turkey disease?? I busted out laughing.

I knew he was talking about tryptophan and needin' a nap but I had never heard it referred to as the turkey disease! Plus why he associated ham and turkey as the same, I will never understand. He just cracks me up.

So beware all you over indulgent eaters out there, you may be susceptible to the dreaded Turkey Disease! Be warned!

Any pie left!?! Funny how a big meal always makes you sleepy eyed! Thinking of you!

When you eat too much, and you feel like you weigh a bazillion pounds after and don't want to move because it's painful, that is a fat attack.

I love it... Do you think hubs will mind if I use that phrase?

Thanks for the laugh.

LOL! I must have it, too, cause I "gobble" everything I cook.

He sounds like my husband! I can be any disease as long as it is associated with a nap!
