Sunday Stills - In Motion!

The assignment for Sunday Stills this week was IN MOTION. Well, I was at the perfect place yesterday to get some action shots-a bull futurity! Stock contractors brought their one and two year old bulls out to see how they stack up against others. Here are some of the bulls that were competing. None of the ones pictured belong to us.

**Update on Stubby...he did okay. He placed about the middle of the pack. Didn't win any money but after all the hookin' and bashin', we were happy with his performance. He's comin' home today. I was given strict instructions NOT to get in the pen with him because of his recent attitude. We'll see how he acts when he gets home.**

A bull futurity? How neat is that? So, does that little box record their movement somehow?

I think they're all terrific. Nicely done!

Too bad about Stubby. Maybe next time!

That third shot reminds me that I am facinated by the way animals move, and that they don't break something when doing their gymnastic moves!

Those are some serious twisty moves!!!
Do they gimp around the next day and say "oh, my achin' back...I think I've twisted my back!" ?

I love bull action! It's hard sometimes to get a good shot of a bull especially with a cowboy on top. These are all great!
