We've had some storms this week. It has rained twice, which is a blessing cause we haven't gotten any precipitation in a long while. So I enjoyed wearing my mudboots to feed. It had been awhile since I had these babies on.
And look at those grey sweats. I am such the fashionista when I'm feedin'. No wonder those bulls are always after me! I'm too hot to resist!
Remember this little guy. He tried gettin' me a few times when we were sortin' a few weeks back. Well, we named him Mud. Seems very fittin' now.
And the last storm a few nights ago so graciously provided our barn with a skylight.
Very nice!

Love those boots!! Oh man, large skylight, yikes!!
I have snazzy purple muck boots!
Though we still have more snow and ice to get through before I can play in the mud. Mud still looks a little like a "heads up" dude we had one like that got the name LB (little Bas...) turned out OK and is a good bull (not the guy who chalenged me the other day)Too bad about the skylight .
Oh the handsome bull! Love him!
And humm your barn looks a lot like ours now! Darn them storms anyways!
Oh goodness, that weather looks like what I get ALL winter long! ;)
I'm way too comfy in my muckboots. Putting on riding boots again is going to feel a bit odd!
Hey, I have boots like that only with leopard spots. I remember a few days chasing horses or cows. I like chasing chickens & ducks a little better. The husband misses the big critters. Wasn't that rain nice. We got a bit too. Nice to see & slip around in the mud.

I kind of like the idea of a skylight in the barn...but I guess that some glass up there would be of some help.
Love the boots...wish I had a cool pair like that.
Sorry about your skylight!
Now - that is some MUD!
Sorry about the skylight!! Gotta love mud We have alot of mud now too! but for some reason my pre planning was not working yesterday because I went to the barn to feed and I guess I assumed I would only stay in the barn so I wore some little girly shoes (slip on wal-mart ones). and of course I had to tromp through a couple of pens to fix a gate!! Needless to say my shoes are shot and I had to rinse my feet with the water hose before I could go in the house!!! Sometimes I really wonder about me!! How come I just did not put on boots and the barn is just about 1/4 a mile behind our house I could of just went home and put my boots on, but I didn't! To tell you the truth I knew It was muddy because when PAtrick got home from working cow s he was covered, I really don't know about me I am a nutball!!! Megan

mud boots what are those? glad you got some rain. Yes, definitely rent the lens!! Love the header did you do that in Photoshop?
Nice pics, hot golashes...
Great mudders there! I can hear the "suck and slosh" just lookin' at 'em. That skylight should help you with your weather forecasting. You should be able to tell right away if it's raining when you're in the barn. What a pain! It's pouring here, too. Something sounds like it's leaking but I can't find it. I'm thinkin' that doesn't seem good.
Yeww! I hate mud. I also hate the rain even though I know it is badly needed. It's been raining here for a week and will probably rain for another week. So much for sunny Ca. I do however love my mud boots.
I love how thoughful mother nature is to think of us. She gives us all sorts of nice things, like sky lights!! I hate that. We have a section over our barn that is missing some roof. Ugh.....
And that looks like some serious mud.
If you're ever looking for rain, head on up here to Oregon. We got plenty of mud...if I hear one more person make a comment about how beautiful and GREEN it is, I'm gonna bust!! But hey...guess I can't complain, we never have storms like they do in the midwest or down south..yikes!! that would be a drag!! I love that little bull - he's so cute!!
Wowza! We never see mud like that! I looks like the slimy kind we got in MT those years and you didn't dare stop in your tracks (or in your wheels) as you'd never get momentum again!
And the skylight? Looks perfect for laying on the haystack and daydreaming...
(don't think I want to help repair it, heights scare me horribly!)
