Great pic, love the red bird in all the drab of winter!

I tell ya girl these coyotes are no longer scared~they aren't at all. I was talking to a friend of ours, his farm is down the road from us and he said just last week he went out checking calves, saw the cow and calf, everything looked great. Drove up to this mom's was there 15 minutes, came back by and there was a pack of coyotes, they had already killed the calf. The cow was fighting them off, the best she could. He shot the first one and the others just looked up and then kept on. he killed them all. He said right before he killed the last one, it came right up to him and sat down and puffed out his chest. Holy crap! He said they were the biggest coyotes he had seen and where well feed. He also has seen a bobcat in the pasture, of course he didn't has his gun. Crazy I tell ya!

Be careful and keep your eyes peeled!

Great photo! Cheered me right up.
And ditto on coyotes even here in the east. They are sleeping in our tool shed right behind the barn. Arrogant things. And we do shoot them whenever we can.

Great photo! Gives the appearance of using Photoshop's selective color feature!!!

I love cardinals. I usually see them in "married" pairs! Where is his wife??

So cute! We don't have those around here....I've never seen a wild red bird! ;) Lots of blue and black and yellow ones, though.
