Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Y'all are so lucky you can't hear me singin'! I love the Christmas tree. It is one of my favorite things about the holiday season. The husband and I usually get a real one. I love the smell of pine in the house. But since we moved into our house two years ago this December, we have realized that a real tree is just not feasible for our tiny living room. I tried last year but it took up most of the room! So this year I broke down and bought a slim artificial tree. I figured we might as well get a tree that will fit in the small area allotted since I doubt we will be moving anytime soon. Despite the disappointment of not having a real tree this year, the fake tree turned out pretty nice. What ya think?

Pretty cute, huh! That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

I have a passion for ornaments as well. I buy a few every year to add to the tree. And of course, there is a theme. Let's see if you can figure it out....

I know, I know, it's not very obvious. I just can't walk away from a western ornament or a cowboy santa. Is there anything you can't walk away from this time of year?

Very pretty tree. Just spray some Pinesol around the house, and you won't miss the real tree at all.

I am afflicted by the same illness as you all. First, food! This year I can't seem to stop eating! And the second is the computer. I'm with Vaquerogirl, I have to know what everyone is up to.

TW-I love to bake. Pies, cakes, etc. I have not tried my luck with fudge. I stick with my simple candy recipe. You can't screw it up!

Love the tree! Ours is small like that due to our lack of space! Love the theme!

This year it seems to be food! I swear I've put on 10 pounds! UGH! Of course not riding like I used to and I've been bad about the tread mill!

I would love to make us all western stockings, just can't seem to find what I want yet. Of course then I would have to make them!

And second is the computer, I love checking in on everyone and seeing what is going on in there neck of the woods! My blogging buddies rock!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Oh yes you can walk away from them....remember the one I pointed out to you last year and was gonna buy for you until you turned your nose up and made that funny face that you do?......and why didn't you just hang the elk head instead of the tree and you could have hung ornaments off of him... :)

I can see you are working hard today on the government's buck....at least I took off to goof off....like I don't do that at work, too..... :) p

Great tree!! I've always like those tall, slim unreal trees (I hate the sound of FAKE) ;~)

Your ornaments will match up with mine...send them on over if you get tired of them!

If you like to bake so much, how come we don't see any of it? And I can certainly see that the government got screwed today with the changes on your blog.....where did that small box come from anyway?? pk

Oh dear...I landed here and skimmed the most recent post and decided I needed to see some happier posts of your first!
Your tree is beautiful! And I love your Decorations! Our wreath is a lasso with a huge red bandana for a bow and 'western' decor! It doesn't smell Christmasy..but it lasts year after year!
