Each week the instructor gives us an assignment. Then we have to bring back a picture for critique. Plus we are only allowed to use the manual settings on the camera. SCARY!!!
I hope the class will improve my quality of picture taking. I was so impressed with the class last night, on the way home I called the husband. I informed him that for Christmas I want everyone to chip in and help buy me a new camera cause after this class I will be a professional! Well that's probably overstating my potential but I was excited!
So what do y'all think.....for my classroom assignments, how about a wrangler theme.

Great picture! Cool beans on the photography class! I soo want to take one but there aren't any offered around me that are close to home.
I just took an online equine photography class, because there was nothing at all offered in photography around here--I learned SO MUCH
You are going to have a ball
So what was the first week's assignment?
The first week's assignment is to take a picture how I've been doing it. On the same settings I usually use. I will post each week's assignment picture for y'all. If I have a hard time choosing between pictures to submit, I'll let y'all choose it for me too.
I would love to take a class but, none offered close to home. Paige where did you take the online one from?
I can't wait to see each weeks assignments.
You will be pro before you know it.
That class sounds awesome. Good for you! I wish I had the time to take a class of the same sorts. Wrangler theme sounds perfect!! I never get sick of lookin at em.
Sounds like fun! I may have to check into that! I love and normally always have my camera with me!
Great photo! Hello! It has Wrangler's in it, why wouldn't it be great!!! LOL!!
I want to take a photography class one day. I love taking pictures.
And I think the wrangler picture has so much potential of being a great butt picture! :)
Great pic!! My sister just got a real high tech digital camera, for a great price. My brother is all into stuff like that, and he bought the same one and talked her into getting it. Let me know if you want to know which one. Might run it by your teacher, to see if it would work for what you want to do!

Yum! I mean nice perspective . good composition, and form...I mean way to catch the attention of the viewer.LOL!! verra verra NICE! A girl afte my own...heart! I wish I lived near yuo I would love to take a photo class!! You need to post what you learn so we too can take better photos!!
TW-If this guy can teach me, I will more than happy post it. Cause I don't know anything about the technical aspects of photography. I just get lucky every once and awhile.
So if y'all truly want to know what I learn, I'll post on it.
Love the photo and the unusual angle.
I think that would be a great camera of choice. The camera on my brothers blog was 2500.00 a few years ago, and now is around 600.00 and it is 10MP, so just do some searching, and you will find one cheaper than you think.
Good luck! Keep the great photos coming!

I took it on equinephotographersnetwork.com or some such. I learned the most about working my camera and the non-auto settings
Really I was so outclassed by the other people in the class who were so accomplished, I was a little embarrassed, but the assignments FORCED me to learn, so it was worth it
ooooo, love that last pic. That's most excellent!
